The Throbbing Rose Collective has been making space for queer art in Toronto since 2014. We pay artists. We keep everything free and open to the public. We do it all with volunteers, community support, and the stubborn belief that queer culture deserves to be seen.

We need your help to keep going.

There are two ways to support us: as an individual who wants to invest in queer creative life year-round, or as a business or organization that wants to align with one of Toronto’s most beloved queer arts festivals. Both matter. Both make the work possible.

The Throbbing Rose Collective runs entirely on volunteer labour and community love. Every dollar raised through our Donor Program goes directly to the work: paying artists at CARFAC-recommended fees, funding residencies, covering production costs, and building toward a permanent home for queer art in this city. We believe queer artists deserve to be paid for their labour — not asked to donate it — and your support makes that possible. Whether you give $100 or $5,000, you are not making a charitable gesture. You are investing in a living, working queer arts community that has been showing up for Toronto since 2014.
