Nuit Rose returns in 2026 with the theme: Rewilding. This is an open invitation for 2SLGBTQ+ and allied artists to explore how queerness, nature, and imagination reclaim what’s been tamed.

Thank you to all the artists, performers, writers, curators, cultural organizations, and community businesses who submitted proposals for the seventh edition of Nuit Rose.

Applicants will be notified of selection results by Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

Spend two weeks in Temagami working alongside queer artists from across disciplines. This residency centres queer ecology and fable as ways of rethinking landscape, storytelling, and how we imagine ourselves in relation to the natural world. Residency Dates: August 1-15, 2026

Thobbing Rose is currently seeing new members who are artists, performers, educators and culture makers.

Join the Throbbing Rose Collective for a full day of live art making at 401 Richmond Street West during Doors Open Toronto. Artists create one original 10x10 work every hour from 8am to 8pm on May 23rd. Every piece sells for $100, with $50 going to the artist and $50 supporting Nuit Rose and Queer Up North. Watch it live, buy original art, or sign up to participate.
