Nuit Rose returns in 2026 with the theme: Rewilding. This is an open invitation for 2SLGBTQ+ and allied artists to explore how queerness, nature, and imagination reclaim what’s been tamed.

Thank you to all the artists, performers, writers, curators, cultural organizations, and community businesses who submitted proposals for the seventh edition of Nuit Rose.

Applicants will be notified of selection results by Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

Spend two weeks in Temagami working alongside queer artists from across disciplines. This residency centres queer ecology and fable as ways of rethinking landscape, storytelling, and how we imagine ourselves in relation to the natural world. Residency Dates: August 1-15, 2026
